The Society for Telemedicine and eHealth In Nigeria (SfTeHIN) was established in April 2005 as a Country representative of the International Society for Telemedicine and eHealth.
The Society for Telemedicine and eHealth In Nigeria is a non-government and not-for-profit organization. A national representative member of the International Society for Telemedicine and eHealth (ISfTeH). It is geopolitically neutral and democratic.
The Society looks to support the evolution of sustainable digital health solutions that are developed or adapted around the local peculiarities of the Nigerian socio-cultural landscape for population health improvement.

The Society continues to work with stakeholders to create a network of experts that support the development of national and regional strategy for successful and progressive digital health solutions.
The Society has also been a strong advocate of digital health solutions as a means of achieving Universal Health Coverage to the Federal government and State governments at large.
The Society welcomes all persons and groups or organizations with interests in the use of digital health solutions for the purpose of healthcare improvement.
