In an effort to encourage experiential learning across digital health implementers in Lagos State and ultimately in Nigeria, SfTeHIN is organizing a Community of Practice to encourage knowledge sharing amongst organizations running digital health solutions in the State.
The concept of a Community of Practice is that of a group of people with a common interest in a particular subject matter, coming together to learn and share experiential knowledge thereby getting better in the said field.
SfTeHIN believes that as digital health solutions such as Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), and ePrescription systems gain adoption, the learning curve should become less steep, and organizations should become more efficient in the management of these systems.
Also, a shared understanding of the divergent solutions that currently exist and the commonalities that unite them has the potential to accelerate the progress toward interoperability for better patient outcomes.
In this endeavor, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) through Health Enabled, will be sponsoring our first two meetings.
The maiden event will hold as detailed below.
Date: 3rd August 2023
Time: 2 pm prompt.
Venue: De Rembrandt Hotel, Awolowo Way, Ikeja
The Community of Practice will draw stakeholders from both the public and private sectors alike.
